Metis It/Delft

"IT must support people. Throughout their lives, and especially at work”, that is the credo of Metis IT, a consultancy company from Delft that provides safe, flexible and effective IT infrastructures.

In 2014, it was announced that Metis IT would be moving to a new location on the Kalfjeslaan in Delft-Zuid. And so we were asked for advice. That advice eventually became a complete job: from demolition work to the realisation of the new interior of the building. And everything in between.

We made the logo on the façade, provided a bar table with coffee at the entrance, produced the cabinets for the meeting rooms, installed decorative lighting, and thus built a light, open workplace where the around fifteen employees of Metit IT could work with enthusiasm.

Main wishes

  • A space for knowledge sessions and having drinks
  • A look that fits with a technical, modern and successful company
  • Strong focus on safety and security
  • Individual workspaces
  • Two meeting rooms, one of which is suitable for 20 people
  • Attention to customer reception

The result

A light, open work space

In short

Familiarisation

  • We mostly want to know why new accommodation, refurbishment or transformation of the office is necessary, and what the benefits have to be for the people, the company and the customers.

Concept

  • The first image formation gives an impression of a new interior, the office design, working methods and the atmosphere.

Design

  • If you are pleasantly surprised, we will refine the design: we'll align colours and materials, and develop technical drawings and interior design.

Execution

  • We supervise construction and interior design, so that we can commission the project in a usable form. We work hard to always honour our agreements.
