Muddebouw excels in traditional carpentry.
Muddebouw is an architectural contractor who moved their office from Rotterdam to Capelle aan den IJssel because of the company's growth. They specialise in new construction, renovation and major maintenance of buildings and homes. Sustainable building or renovation is paramount in every assignment that Muddebouw takes on.
So of course Muddebouw didn't need our expertise for the operational activities. After all, they themselves are experts in this area. But Sprank was asked to think about the layout, atmosphere, colour and materialisation. We opted for green as an accent colour and supported it with other natural, neutral colours. For the walkway from the entrance to the canteen, we opted for a hard, dark floor finish because it created a nice contrast.
When you're good at something, you can show it off. When possible, we like to feature a company's specialty in the design. Muddebouw excels in traditional carpentry. And that's reflected in the final result with, for example, the self-made meeting tables.
Of course we couldn't ignore the sustainable nature of Muddebouw in our design. Therefore, the design of the contractor's new office exudes expertise and durability. Take the Muddebouw logo for example: now proudly hanging in beautiful green moss on the company wall.
A new office with green and other natural, neutral colours that exude durability and expertise.
