Developer of the Sleep Position Trainer to prevent obstructive sleep apnea
NightBalance is a prize-winning company that was founded in 2009 by alumni of the Delft University of Technology. In 2007 they began researching for better resources for position therapy. That search led to the development of the Sleep Position Trainer (SPT), the newest treatment for positional sleep apnoea.
Because NightBalance grew so fast, they asked Sprank to help them brainstorm about the design of a new home base in The Hague. The client gave us a number of terms they wanted us to translate into the interior design. Inside garden, creative jokes, relax, industrial, wood, white, and steel were the key words NightBalance wanted us to think about in order to get started. Something we certainly could do here at Sprank. The request itself provided us with a lot of answers.
We came up with a mix of open work spaces and closed consultation areas. NightBalance's new home port not only offers a room where you can retreat to a hammock, but also one where you can play table tennis. There is a brainstorming room and a nice meeting place with lots of greenery where guests immediately feel at home. Certainly a place where NightBalance can continue to grow in the coming years.
A light and green mix of open work spaces and closed consultation areas. A place to work, relax, have fun and to work on new ideas.
